Supplier Diversity

Our commitment to diversity doesn't stop at our company doors. We apply it to our suppliers as well.

Supplier Diversity Image

In our business, diversity and inclusion provide a competitive advantage that drives business results. Our brands appeal to an extraordinarily diverse array of customers and they are sold by an equally diverse group of retailers. To truly understand the needs of our consumers and customers - and to succeed in the marketplace - PepsiCo must reflect that diversity in our supplier base and in everything we do.

An integral part of our mission is a commitment to purchase from a supplier base representative of our employees, consumers, retail customers and communities.

Developing partnerships with minority-owned and women-owned suppliers helps us build the world-class supplier base we need. It creates mutually beneficial relationships that expand PepsiCo's sphere of activity. It helps build community infrastructure by providing employment, training, role models, buying from other minority and women-owned business and supporting community organizations.

Therefore, we seek opportunities to give qualified minority and women suppliers a chance to succeed. It benefits PepsiCo, our business objectives and our communities. Qualified minority and women suppliers can register at our supplier diversity portal to help them connect with potential buyers. Supplier Code of Conduct

A Message From PepsiCo's Chief Procurement Officer

Dear PepsiCo suppliers and other stakeholders,

As part of our Responsible & Sustainable Sourcing strategy at PepsiCo, we are committed to working in partnership with our suppliers to follow a specific code of conduct in the areas of employee labor conditions, health & safety, environmental management and business integrity. We have updated our policies to simplify communications about PepsiCo's values and how they extend to our supply chain partners.

Below, our updated Supplier Code of Conduct is provided. We are issuing this uniform PepsiCo-wide supplier code of conduct as a single document to provide explicit communication of expectations in these important areas to our suppliers and their chain of suppliers. While the vast majority of our suppliers are already working to these or similar standards, and may well have Supplier standards that reach back into their own supply chain, we intend to work closely with our suppliers to insure they fully comply with our code of conduct listed below.

Additionally, PepsiCo has joined Sedex as the means for our supplier community to articulate and verify their activity in the areas of employee labor conditions, health & safety, environmental management and business integrity. PepsiCo looks forward to working with Sedex and other firms committed to making the assessment process easier for suppliers to provide information, thereby allowing for improved understanding of the opportunities for improvement.

Many of the areas covered in the code are easily understood and simple to follow, but some may require more clarification or additional discussion to gain a common understanding. If you have any further queries about this process, please contact your buyer, category captain or PepsiCo's Director of Responsible & Sustainable Sourcing at responsiblesourcing@pepsi.com.

Sincerely,
Mitch Adamek
SVP & Chief Procurement Officer
PepsiCo
