Job Description

Job Purpose

The Maintenance Warehouse Officer is responsible for managing the technical warehouse and inventory management system, in order to have an understanding of the inventory at all times and to be of optimum service to the technical service and with it, the production. You ensure the execution and development of the stores and controls all purchasing and issuing activities through a disciplined SAP system and strict application of business processes.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manages optimum stock levels and sets the minimum stock level through liaising with specialists, managers, LIE and maintenance coordinator;
  • Solely Manages SOX processes for site stock and prepares stock lists from the ERP software;
  • Collates and Communicates to senior team weekly and monthly financial data situation of the warehouse managing the budgets within this spend;
  • Managing Daily reorder process and taking responsibility for the suppliers and productivity related to this work;
  • Managing Daily spare parts order process and taking responsibility for the suppliers and productivity related to this work;
  • Manages system stock addition, Supporting Maintenance manager to ensure stock values are balanced;
  • Maintain purchase info records, make adjustments and create new PIR’s, prices, MRP settings;
  • Upload corrections or new data in corporation with DMO agency;
  • Follow-up that all warehouse flows are followed correctly for the purpose of correct stock levels;
  • Site expert trainer for SAP;
  • Manage existing stores holdings to meet stores inventory scorecard KPIs;
  • Control the introduction of new stock items;
  • Manage supplier performance to ensure on time, full quantity and quality are at acceptable levels. Liaise with suppliers and plant buyer to resolve invoice issues and agree new pricing where applicable. Set up new Vendors to PI Business Processes;
  • Ensure stores transaction meets PI standards;
  • Give clear direction and hold regular review meeting with the site teams to ensure all Inventory transactions are captured and completed to the PI Inventory Business processes;
  • Manages and Controls all operations for incoming components and goods for the TOD department, QC and household warehouse and is owner of the receiving area for the plant;
  • Attend the site (6 weekly) Inventory Super User meetings to:
    • Build a culture in which “engagement”, “sense of urgency”, “pride” and “flexibility” are strong values;
    • Supports the Plants improvement and lean agenda;
    • Set up clear communication platforms within the plant across departments;
    • Respect for corporate values, labour rules and Codes of Conduct within Pepsico;
    • Compliance with GEHSMS and AIB standards;
    • Contribute to the Recon and ISO 50001 standards;
    • Respect and ensure compliance with the safety rules laid down within Pepsico and proactive reporting unsafe situations.



  • In-depth knowledge of stores with a minimum of 3 years industrial experience preferably within a food manufacturing environment;
  • Good knowledge of SAP or other maintenance planning tools;
  • In depth knowledge of Inventory and purchasing practices and systems;
  • Concise and in depth knowledge of CMMS system;
  • Computer literate: familiarity with computer software (word, excel, etc);
  • Demonstrate problem solving capabilities;
  • Good influencing, presentation, communication and decision making skills;
  • Good people skills and management capability;
  • Ability to manage suppliers at senior levels;
  • Analytical skills, understand the reports and take lessons from it;
  • Finance-minded because you will have to work closely with finance department.
