Job Description

Key accountabilities include:

  • Build Beverages & Juices Category maintenance excellence capability and asset reliability performance
  • Member of the Category Supply Chain leadership team determining priorities, resource allocation and results delivery
  • Lead initiatives to ensure enhanced field technical capability; drive best practices; reduce spares inventory; and ensure asset integrity to meet safety; regulatory and quality requirements
  • Drive productivity through clear focus on costs of maintenance; reliability of assets; and with focus on core and differentiating assets.
  • Lead sector shared maintenance services agenda to standardised approach and leverage scale
  • Ensure front line manufacturing teams are engaged in driving maintenance effectiveness
  • Partner with the Global Horizontal teams in breakthrough maintenance approaches; development of Policies , KPI and standard benchmark setting; rapid deployment of best practices and maintenance systems
  • Partner with R&D,OEM'S and global teams to drive Early Equipment Management for emerging technology - Equipment design for optimal Life Cycle costing
  • Drive the PwP (Performance with Purpose) agenda for Water and Energy reduction in our manufacturing plants
This role can be based anywhere in Europe and involves about 50% of travelling.

Qualifications/Requirements

What are we looking for?

  • Significant maintenance or engineering leadership experience, ideally in a multi-country FMCG or scale industrial organisation. Degree level qualification (or equivalent) in engineering or technical subject would be an advantage
  • Strategic focus - Creates long term strategies and plans that reflect an understanding of how the business operates
  • Results focus - Leverages understanding of key business drivers in own area to establish priorities and clear accountabilities in order to deliver business impactful results.
  • Able to set a clear, future focussed direction, taking into consideration internal and external best-practice- stays current with trends in external environment and applies within context of role
  • Autonomous decision making for development of systems and programmes to drive asset effectiveness and efficiency
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills with ability to influence across all levels - senior to front line
  • Cultural sensitivity/flexibility in responding to different cultures
  • Maintenance or engineering functional knowledge base
