Job Description

  • Responsibility for internal and external accounting and reporting according to US GAAP, local statutory and FAS
  • Strong leadership of R2R business processes (GL and Reporting teams) and close interaction with BPO service provider, partner with Service Delivery Manager, participate in regular performance reviews
  • Responsibility for compliance with the Tax Accounting requirements and Tax audits for the legal entities above
  • Ensure strong compliance of all functions and legal entities above with PepsiCo Global Control Standards and Local and Corporate policies requirements
  • Ensure compliance with SwissCo and Principal Model for FLTCE and PCIC purposes, especially in regard to accounting and stat/tax audits
  • Be a searched business partner for business projects for controlling relevant questions and related systems implications, drive the BU Germany project agenda and demonstrate strong execution of decisions
  • Create cross functional efficiencies in close alignment with Planning and Other Functions
  • Strong leadership, close coaching and development of the business process teams
  • Drives BU GCS (Global Control Standards) agenda and ensures full compliance with PepsiCo GCS framework. Fosters Full Proportional Ownership model whilst ensuring processes are in place to secure sustainability of capability and knowledge within each Function. Responsible for designing and delivering GCS Annual Calendar

Qualifications/Requirements

  • University Degree in economics with focus on Finance/Audit/Accounting
  • At least 2-year proven experience in leading big organizations in Controlling function
  • Ability to work across various countries and cultures
  • Capable to manage and develop teams / multitask agendas
  • Profound and up-to-date knowledge on Controlling (US GAAP and HGB)/Tax/Legal
  • Strong leadership on diverse teams across all levels of seniority
  • Strong analytical skills to assess complex and new business cases
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Systems and Project Management skills
  • Fluent English and German
