Job Description

  • This position is responsible to work together with Atlacomulco DC Planning Team in order to support the agenda for PGCS’s Mexico Supply Chain function.
  • This position is responsible for the Customer Service relationship, Demand Planning alignment and C&T activities for the Mexico sourcing model in order to assure product availability by working closely with Purchasing, Production, Quality, Warehouse and Mexico teams to finalize weekly agreed upon production schedule and van planning for following week.
  • Manage the ordering/production/shipping activities for the Mexican market.
  • Weekly Customer Order alignment with Mex Planning team
  • Weekly shipments/backorders reconciliation to regenerate MRP requirements in SAP
  • Production Compliance tracking (daily & weekly)
  • GCS and Sox controls – SOs, C&T, etc. (weekly)
  • Ensure shipping documentation availability to timely complete C&T (export/import) activities
  • OFI validation (weekly)
  • Administer and ensure compliance with all established company and governmental safety policies, procedures and regulations (OSHA, Food Safety, etc.)
  • Exchanges information with potential partner areas to clarify partnership benefits and potential problems; collaboratively determines the scope and expectations of the partnership so that both areas’ needs can be met.
  • Formulates Action Plans - Collaboratively determines courses of action to realize mutual goals; facilitates agreement on each partner’s responsibilities and needed support.
  • Cultivates an Active Network - Demonstrates an understanding of the strategic importance of customer relationships; proactively builds, maintains, and uses key relationships to promote purchasing objectives.


  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, etc.)
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience managing in Supply Chain functions as Demand Management/Planning/Inventory Management and/or strategic sourcing (Mfg. environment)
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, MAPICS, Oracle, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Lean Six-Sigma concepts and methodologies
  • Excellent supervisory, interpersonal written and verbal communicational skills.
  • Excellent communication / interpersonal skills
  • Excellent negotiation and analytical skills with ability to manage and develop supplier relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple complex tasks to completion
  • Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organization
  • Willing and able to travel approximately ~10%
