Main Purpose of the Role:

Our Savoury marketing team is looking for an amazing marketer, with a smart passion for the shopper, to change the game in our Away from Home strategic channels.
To drive sustainably Category growth there is a clear need for accelerated business growth in AFH and especially to seize significant brand building opportunities. This role is a crucial player to deliver on this strategic ambition.
The shopper marketeer savoury AFH develops the AFH Benelux Shopper Marketing Strategy and annual plans in cooperation with marketing, category management and sales. This includes defining the necessary A&M budget during the preparation of our annual plans and managing the shopper budget during the whole year.

The role also creates value by the integration of insights (consumer, shopper and customer) with brand- and customer strategies in order to develop customer, consumer &/or shopper communication solutions for the PepsiCo savoury brands (Lay’s, Doritos, Cheetos, Duyvis & Sunbreaks) in priority AFH channels.

He or she is the single point of contact for all AFH savoury shopper marketing related topics, including, but not limited to, leading the AFH Benelux Loyalty Program and the development of shopper communication solutions, which includes : objective setting, briefing external agencies, creating the final solution and excellently executing at customer with support of the Field Sales Force and key account managers.

The shopper marketeer savoury Away from Home Benelux reports to the Senior Savoury Shopper Marketeer Benelux. He or She will be a key member of a great shopper team composed of 8 team members and part of the broader Benelux Marketing Savoury Team.
Key Responsibilities :
  • Deliver on strategic ambition: accelerated growth in AFH, leveraging key AFH channels to seize significant brand building opportunities
  • Single point of contact & business partner for Savoury BNL AFH shopper marketing related topics
  • Develop AFH strategy and annual plans/calendar aligned with all stakeholders
  • Manage different projects within timings and budget
  • Lead the BNL AFH Loyalty program (curious? Check
  • Briefing of externals agencies to develop creative concepts and evaluate them
  • Define necessary tools to activate the shopper and/or the consumer
  • Align final shopper programs/solution with different stakeholders (marketing, sales, retailers)
  • Implement shopper programs/solutions at customer with support of Key account managers/Field Sales Force
  • Evaluate shopper programs based on clear kpi’s and advice organization

Experience :
  • Academic Degree, 3-5 years experience, preferably experience in FMCG and or Sales/Marketing/Trade Marketing
  • Experience in agency management
  • Experience in budget management
  • Experience in managing different stakeholders
  • Solid knowledge of FMCG and preferably AFH channels
Key Skills :
  • Strong project management skills: able to run multifunctional projects within timeline
  • Ability to translate insights into shopper marketing solutions
  • Strong conceptual thinker, creative, the ability to “think outside the box”
