This includes North America Nutrition, a division that is charged with creating nutrition synergies within our Quaker, Tropicana, Gatorade and Naked Juice portfolios to drive continued growth.

PepsiCo is seeking to fill a Customer Manager Position that has the responsibility of Gatorade, Gatorade Sport Nutrition Bars/Powder and Propel Water for the Grocery Channel. The Customer Manager is also responsible for calling on Associated Foods (Salt Lake City, Utah) along with some of their key accounts and C&S Wholesale Grocers (Sacramento, CA) along with some on their key accounts.

Some of the Customer Managers responsibilities include:

  • Achieving annual Gross Sales, Net Revenue and Profit targets
  • Selling new Distribution
  • Expanding Shelf Space of existing Gatorade/Propel items
  • Developing a Promotional Calendar and Annual Plans
  • Growing Displays (Inventory on Display/ Number of Displays)
  • Traveling to visit customers (Associated Foods, C&S Wholesale Grocers and some of their key accounts) on a regular basis
  • Understanding Financials
  • Developing PowerPoint presentations and presenting
  • Strong analytical skills while being able to identify opportunities and strengths
  • Forecasting
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Lead annual Operating Plan while collaborating with Sales Leadership, Finance, Category Management and Business Development Manager
  • Maintenance of Financial Promotional Planner
  • Actively participate in customer payment processing including financial contracts, performance and collection

Qualifications/Requirements


Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
Work Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience; preferably with a consumer packaged goods organization

Residency Location:
  • Nor CA or near Salt Lake City

Skills & Capabilities:
  • Highly motivated individual with excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and follow up skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Solid understanding of financials including P&L impact of sales decisions
  • Proven leadership capability with a track record of leading and influencing large multi-level teams
  • Capability to excel in Sales
  • Commitment and ability to succeed within a fast paced organization
  • Business & financial acumen
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time
