The Sales Planning Manager is a critical member of the Premium Nutrition Sales Team and will be accountable to ensure brand focus is cohesive and strategic across all channels for the Premium Nutrition Naked Bars and New Platform products.
This individual will work closely with Business Unit Leaders and Channel Strategy leads to develop internal strategy support to drive clear and enhanced brand strategy to enable the Achievement of the AOP, Annual Operating Plan.

The Sales Planning Manager will lead the innovation development and GTM strategy for Naked bars and New Platforms while working cross functional collaboration with BU Leads; Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance as well as Channel Strategy Leads.

The Sales Strategy/Planning Manager will represent the voice of the field sales team on BU projects.
  • Builds relationships with the marketing, supply chain, finance teams and Channel Strategy leads that will support and sell in Naked Bars and New Platforms.
  • Provides sales needs to relevant projects to ensure all channel needs are met and innovation is launched on time
  • Develops/Maintains Price/Pack Architecture for relevant brands
  • Develops KPI’s for launch and ongoing annual sales plans for relevant brands
  • Develop innovation sell stories, field sales planning guide and season sell materials
  • Communicate local market data and competitive information to business unit partners to ensure development of
    win/win strategies that drives incremental net revenue, VGP and share growth
  • Develops winning BU relationships, responsible for building strong cross functional networks
  • Coordinate/attend product availability meetings and update key stakeholders
  • Assist Premium Nutrition External Sales Strategy teams across all channels on customer growth summit decks
  • Assists in development of trade spending strategies, Strategic Role of Trade (SROT) for all Channels for relevant brands
  • Tracks and measures key customer performance indicators

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • 5-10 years ‘selling experience in consumer packaged goods sales team.
  • Successful navigator in matrix organization.
  • Excellent PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Business systems internal and external data sources and tools
  • Analytical problem solving skills; Selling skills; Negotiation skills; Presentation building skills
  • Influencing Others
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates an organizational savvy to get things done
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be willing and able to travel 20% of the time
