Job Purpose Statement

  1. Develop and grow the Bluebird business in Distributors, Licenced and Entertainment channel, with a focus on delivering sustainable and profitable channel and category growth in existing accounts.
  2. Identify white space sales opportunities in Traditional Trade. Winning and setting up new customers and channels to drive incremental sustainable growth
Key Accountabilities
  • Ensure delivery of NSV and GM/VC targets for the specified channels/accounts
  • Identify sustainable growth opportunities in existing channels and develop plans to maximise these opportunities
  • Identify new business and develop plans to drive profitable sales growth in these channels
  • Manage pricing, forecast, sales and promotional plans to deliver profit targets including management of trade spend budget
  • Build profitable relationships with key accounts
  • Work with field team to ensure account plans executed in outlets to expected gold standard levels
  • Demonstrate and exercise a commitment to promote, develop and improve the health, safety and welfare of our people
Key Challenges
  • Analysing and prioritising channels and accounts, using the finite resource to develop plans for the highest upside
  • Identifying growth opportunities outside current accounts and channels and developing the new business for profitable future growth
  • Developing and refining our pricing plans to maximise sales in the channel, whilst also maximising Bluebird and CP profits
  • Working with a diverse range of internal key stakeholders, including influencing and motivating ~25 franchise partners with the CP network

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Prefer Bachelor Degree
  • 5 years sales experience preferably within an FMCG or convenience environment
  • Strong analytical skills to deliver sound commercial based recommendations and decisions
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the FMCG and/or convenience channels
  • Ability to plan, organise, prioritise and implement action in the short term
