Job Description

  • Development & communication of end-to-end price promotion strategies & guidelines:
    • Understand consumer / shopper insights, utilize various analytics tools & datasets to define a sustainable / profitable promotional guiderail set
    • Clear linked to marketing calendar & growth strategy
    • Predict key competitor actions and formulate strategies to sustain competitiveness
    • Maximize trade promotion effectiveness that generate the strongest revenue and profitability opportunities
    • Coordinate and lead Sales & Marketing teams in the development of promotional strategies for each brand, banner & customer

  • Lead process to build price promotion plans and forecasts to achieve KPIs as determined in annual operating plan, which incorporate latest dealing promotional guidelines, (partnering with Channel Heads and covering w/ marketing calendar assumptions & consumer insights)
    • Use analytics to determine which products should be promoted at what price and where
    • Develop quarterly/monthly promotion calendar together with sales team
    • Follow-up market trends & recent performance results using analytics to track execution & formulate alternative recommendations if necessary that will support achieving plans
  • Development & deployment of specific KPIs, tracking tools & systems
  • Contribute to development of trade promo Management & ROI measurement tool process teaming up with ESSA region CoE team


Qualifications : University graduate (related Business degree; business administration, statistics, mathematics, research, engineering)

Experience : Total 7 years of functional experience within analytical function, of which min 2 years of managerial experience. Management consulting experience preferred.
