Job Description

As a Finance Senior Manager at PepsiCo, you will be the key Finance Cost contact responsible for providing the financial expertise and recommendations that enable effective decision-making within the business. The Finance Senior Manager will be the Go To Market lead for the Mid-Atlantic Region team. The Finance Senior Manager will provide overall leadership for the period end results, preparation of forecasts, Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Innovation Growth or Integrated Business Plans, along with financial analysis, reporting and budgeting.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead cost performance and savings initiatives for the MA Region (specifically in GTM functions)
  • Drive productivity and analytical assessment of performance across all locations and markets
  • Lead strategic plan and AOP development, including deck analysis and deck preparation
  • Manage reporting and analysis process including periodic reporting, periodic forecast analysis and review deck preparation
  • Support planning and tracking of internal and external labor
  • Period close activities to include working closely with the Controller’s group to ensure accuracy and completeness of entries
  • Provide counsel to a broad range of senior leaders in forecasting and analysis
  • Support ad-hoc projects and analysis as requested
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to manage P&L expectations
  • Providing insightful analysis of business results to senior management and perform ad-hoc analyses that lead to problem solving and business improving recommendations

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required (Finance or Business Administration preferred)
  • MBA preferred

Work Experience:

  • <5 years of progressive responsibility, ideally with supervisory experience, in some of the following areas: Financial Planning and Analysis, evaluating business performance, Financial Accounting and Control. Functional finance experience is a plus (e.g. Marketing, Sales, R&D, Operations, Procurement etc.)

Skills & Capabilities:

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management
  • Ability to lead and drive an agenda through the organization to deliver results
  • Aptitude for functional business modeling and process development
  • Experience with forecasting and budgeting
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Ability to leverage systems and data sources to assess performance and actionable targets
  • Results-oriented with ability to initiate and lead projects to completion
  • Innovative and Independent thinker with a focus on continuous process improvement
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to quickly learn various in-house software applications
  • Aptitude for business model and process development
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time
