Job Description

Main Purpose:

  • Lead the Capability & Sustainability agenda for Egypt
  • Lead the development, updating and implementation of the Ops Department internal Policies & validate of the execution of the company policies
  • In charge of the control agenda for OPS dept.
  • Lead the Capability building process throughout the implementation and sustain of Best Practice Tools in PCE Plants & Distribution Centers
  • Lead the KPIs tracking system and develop analysis tools and Corrective Action Plans for PCE Plants & DC’s
  • Lead the Operations Division AOP, start Plan, quarterly forecasting Monthly phasing setting and cost tracking Analysis Role
  • Lead the Optimization & Developing of Operations headcount structure
  • Lead the implementation and sustain of BPT in the total company
  • Manage the Technical Training Process for the Ops Department
  • Provide management support and oversee Sustainability Initiatives
  • Compile and provide summary performance reviews to Operations Director
  • Identify Sustainability goals & advocate for resources
  • Ensure implementation of policies related to PepsiCo’s sustainability system
  • Incorporate environmental sustainability into entire operations team
  • Modify building practices to promote healthy environments as well as energy and resource efficiency as increasing recycling, preventing waste and pollution
  • Capable of interacting / managing Sustainability funding establishments
  • Comply with local Egyptian Environmental legislations
  • Develop and implement annual Environment & Sustainability plan for Alex & Delta, Greater Cairo & Upper Egypt
  • Lead Environment & Sustainability projects in order to achieve annual plans including Re-conservation of all resources saving goals
  • Apply EMS/ISO 14001 implementation program
  • Lead site Environment & Sustainability efforts on a day-to-day basis, with guidance and support from Operations Director
  • Establish and manage Site “Green teams”
  • Implement Resource conservation & Sustainability Programs & Best Practices, including conducting trainings & developing Action Plans
  • Plan to conduct periodic health checks for all sites
  • Communicate effectively with local authorities & solve any issues
  • Promote environmental culture in the site through general awareness communications


Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Engineering background (Electrical / mechanical)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience preferably in manufacturing and logistics within FMCG companies in a managerial role.
  • Has been part of or led an organization change
  • Good understanding and application of tools for continuous improvement
  • Strong coaching and communication skills (English and Arabic)
  • Good Leadership abilities
  • Problem solving & action planning skills an ability to identify strategic priorities
  • Good communication, interpersonal & presentation and facilitation skills
  • Follow- through skills & results oriented
  • Strong analytical thinking Excellent computer skills-English literate
