Job Description

The Food Export business is operated from PepsiCo Netherlands office in Utrecht. The team is responsible for export to various countries: Salty to Nordics including Iceland and Switzerland, and Nuts to Greece. Most countries operate on a make to stock basis. The portfolio consists of ca 80 SKU's for the Savoury business (Salty and Nuts) and an additional 20 display (promotional) SKU’s.

In this role you act very independently with strong links to the Nordic MU, Nordic distributors and 3PL and in close collaboration with the customer service team. Your main task is to support the Nordics MU for the logistics and supply chain activities including demand planning and DRP planning.

Role Purpose

You will handle the Demand Plan for Export:

  • Maintain the demand plan in the planning tool
  • Contact Distributors (Finland, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Denmark, Greece) on expected sales on daily and weekly basis
  • Convert information from market and work on improvement of accuracy, timeliness of data

You will handle the service to customer to Export markets:

  • Align with supply planners from various brands and categories (suppliers)
  • Coordinate with the 3PL on repacking and co-packing activities for displays
  • Monitor and report on the performance of the 3PL in close cooperation with the Logistics Manager
  • Align with Customer Service on order-entry and order acceptance process
  • Handle stock levels and best before dates (incl obsoletes risk monitoring and follow up) and build weekly reporting
  • Align with Customer Service on customs documents (Iceland, Norway) EUR-1
  • Contact logistics department of our production facilities in case loading priority is needed
  • Address incidents (damages or product related) with production facilities, logistics provider and management.
  • Handle the PtP process (including creation of PO’s and GR’s for logistics activities

Contribute to process improvements for the Export process:

  • Manage long term declaration and manufacturer declarations for the export countries (creation and update)
  • Cooperate with distributors and export managers on export plans and improvement

Manage co-pack activities for Benelux markets:

  • Planning Inbound and Outbound (translation Demand plan to Inventory planning) – deliver input for capacity planning 3PL
  • Manage Co-packing activities like displays
  • Inventory management of the co-pack orders
  • Inventory Partner Shopper Marketing (collaborative Co-operation management POS material)

Supply planning:

  • Manage produce To Order to Co-manufacturers

Your accountabilities:

  • Service level to Nordic distributors, co-pack SKU’s and co-manufacturers
  • Inventory level on Export sku’s in K&N DC and co-pack SKU’s and co-manufactures
  • Communication and support to exhaust obsoletes on Export SKU’s
  • Timely and accuracy of product and customer master data and pricing data
  • Correctness of legal documentation in case of new products
  • Timely and correct information of logistics data to distributors
  • Ingredient declarations
  • Align way of working with domestic planning team and ensure back up

  • Knowledge of MS Office (Excel) is required
  • Knowledge of Forecasting tools, ERP and Data Warehouse systems preferred
