When you join Frito Lay (Business unit of PepsiCo) Accounting and Finance team in Plano Texas you have the opportunity - after 18 months in the role – to be considered for advancement or rotation into another accounting or finance group. PepsiCo Accounting professionals have a seat at the table and a voice in conversations across the company.
The Fixed Asset Manager oversees all assets capitalized and capital projects generated for our Frito Lay. The position ensures compliance and proper application of fixed assets policies, Construction-In-Process balance is maintained and assets are capitalized in a timely manner, and At-Risk assets are identified and communicated to senior management. Additional responsibilities include coordinating and supporting the Supply Chain Finance functions in the forecasting of depreciation expense, which is a critical component of FLUS’s Operating Cash Flow target, and overseeing lease accounting. This role supports Engineering, Field, Fleet, Contract Manufacturing, and Real Estate operations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 5 + years of general accounting experience
- Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
- CPA Preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
