Job Description

Main purpose

This role will play a key role in delivering Insights vision and mission with primary responsibility for leading the Snacks BU and Po1 Sales Insights & Analytics Agenda in order to:

Accelerate Russia BU Snacks Business Growth (both top line and bottom line) by providing holistic information on barriers and opportunities based on deep shopper Insights expertize as well as leveraging deep business intelligence (analytics) and Consumer knowledge generated by Snacks Category insights team.
Accelerate PepsiCo profitable growth with TOP LKA Customers across Po1 categories as well as partner in building in-store activation solutions for customer segments by promoting shopper centricity and building partnership win-win relationships with retailers.

Accountabilities:

  1. Establish Insights function as indispensable business partner that Lead the delivery of a proactive & impactful insights & analytics agenda
    1. Lead development and implementation of agenda focusing on Russia Snacks and Po1 Sales business priorities and opportunities
    2. Build close relationships with Senior stakeholders building trust and influencial skills
  2. Build a High Performing Team across areas
    1. Role model “business ownership” culture
    2. Ensure bench development through training, coaching and performance management process
    3. Demonstrate strong business partnering approach and ensure the work influence decisions, challenge (in a constructive way) exisiting solutions as well as partner in developing new solutions
  3. Serve as the voice of Shopper, Consumer and Data at Snacks and Po1 Sales Leadership teams
    1. Influence critical business decisions being a member of Snacks and Po1 Sales leadership teams and bringing independent objective views to forums
    2. Promote culture of Shopper/Consumer centricity in all we do
    3. Create a platform for knowledge sharing with all respective departments, in order to achieve better quality of all activation we do with the shopper/consumer in mind
  4. Lead process of defining opportunities to support development of PepsiCo strategies and priorities within PepsiCo Strategic Planning and Annual Operations Planning processes
    1. Lead Situational assessment, identifying and prioritizing growth challenges and opportunities by combining all available external in internal knowledge sources into one compelling story
    2. Translate understanding of Mega Trends into Snacks and Po1 Sales opportunities
    3. Lead scenario planning and target setting process as part of PepsiCo Strategic Planning and Annual Operations Planning including market projections, SoM targets setting
  5. Ensure One truth actionable performance tracking, which provides consistent and clear guide to Management on brand performance and opportunities as well as provide direction for solutions development
    1. Provide fact-based insights into competitor strategies, sales decomposition, and anticipated future initiatives
    2. Lead preparation of regular and ad hoc updates of PepsiCo market position and brand performance for Snacks leveraging PPD capabilities
    3. Establish tracking of actions linked to performance improvement
  6. Enable development of Shopper-based in-store solutions
    1. Partner in development of assortment matrixes and planograms
    2. Co-lead development and implementation of Snacks category vision and selling stories
    3. Provide strategic input into channel and key customers strategies

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications / Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience across Insights disciplines with strong track record across two role families; Commercial experience is a bonus;
  • Technical Mastery Expertise, Experience and Competence across diverse range of tools/methods/processes
  • Significant track record of being a critical business partner to Senior Leaders and significantly shaping long term and short term company strategy and resource allocation to drive sustainable NR and Profit growth
  • Ability to see big picture and give direction without getting into too much of details
  • Broad-based business acumen and commercially savvy
  • Experience of setting strategic agenda and vision and aligning resources/ taking broad set of stakeholders
