Job Purpose

Managing the company LMS and designing & developing new digital learning content. The main purpose the of OC E-Learning Content Developer is to convert and develop basic/non-interactive/traditional training content into fully interactive, engaging and motivational Mobile Learning and e-Learning training and/or informative lessons (ready for end users).

Position In Organisation

  • Reports to OC Manager L7
  • Peers: OC Technical Capability Lead, Specialists, MOS, OC Team and HR

  • Direct Reports:

  • Indirectly local site trainers and Crewing Co-ordinators.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Working with key business stakeholders to design innovative and fresh e-learning modules

  • Using existing content, re-designing and creating new content using storyboards and creating learning that captures and engages colleagues to successfully meet objectives or learning criteria

  • Manage the design life cycle of e-learning and digital learning from conception to live modules

  • Support the HR functions and talent resourcing team by using e-learning content to both grow and retain talent pool

  • Be able to actively demonstrate and promote the e-learning Management System & become a technical gatekeeper for our LMS system

  • Constantly look to try new tools and material to keep learning solutions fresh and exciting

  • Proven experience of designing engaging e-learning materials

  • Ability to influence and advise on appropriate learning facilities

  • Flexible & positive attitude; calm-under pressure: demonstrable success working in a team environment on multiple projects with changing priorities

  • Knowledgeable in Learning Management System capabilities, options and programme creation



We need someone with experience of working with technical learning content in the Automotive, Engineering or Manufacturing sector. For this eLearning Developer role, you’ll need to be a true digital learning specialist, with the confidence to grow an E-learning function from scratch. Your experience to date needs to include; instructional design, E-learning content development (LMS administration and stakeholder management)
