Job Description

DEVELOP THE CUSTOMER STRATEGIC PLAN

  • Analyse information/opportunities: Range / Space / Competition / Promotions / Service / Execution / Events
  • Review of Customer Strategic Plan compliance
  • Design strategy for Area of responsibility
  • Assistance to Key Customers to plan initiatives, expand portfolio, drive growth and ensure the required profitability for both parties

MEET SALES TARGETS & KPI’s
  • Weekly Sales forecast per sku level.
  • Perfect execution of Marketing & Trade Marketing calendar
  • Prepare and execute period sales meetings.
  • Spend in total 30% of his working time in the field.
  • Reporting
  • Negotiation and implementation of established plans according to opportunities referring to range/space/leaflets
  • Negotiation and planning of promotions(both National and Tailor Made) and in store activations
  • Negotiation of new products listing
  • Follow up of Area P&L
  • Set & Achieve targets of productivity indicators (positive calls, monthly attainment plan)
  • Locate and develop new customers - new channels.
  • DSO reduction


CONTROL THE EVOLUTION OF BUDGET ASSIGNED TO THE CUSTOMER
  • Weekly trade reporting analysis
  • Obtaining customer’s relevant information and business opportunities
  • Prepare summary presentations to support commercial actions
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders

DEVELOP PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CUSTOMER (INFLUENCE & NEGOTIATION)
  • Periodical visits to the customer to develop a trust based relationship at different levels
  • Obtaining customer’s relevant information and business opportunities
  • Organize periodical Business Reviews with the customer
  • Solve any service related, promotional activity, invoicing etc. incidences
  • Gains customer respect by being reliable, candid, tactful

COORDINATE ACTIVITIES / FUNCTIONS BETWEEN PEPSICO AND THE CUSTOMER
  • Liaise between customer and Trade Marketing to plan and execute promotional activities
  • Liaise between customer and Invoicing/Credit departments to resolve any invoicing/credit issue
  • Liaise between customer and Supply/Logistics department to secure excellent service levels)
  • Identify growth opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure attainment
  • Communicate to the Sales Force the various actions agreed : promotional events, new product introduction, additional space, in store activities
  • Solve the execution related incidences with the Sales Field Supervisor
  • Ensure reports - elements for customers in order to support Marketing and Trade Marketing.

PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT

  • Hiring personnel to cover empty positions
  • Staff his zone of responsibility, according to the Company’s rising needs across
    all subordinate levels
  • Motivate and maintain the teams high moral.
  • Develop members of the team for covering higher positions.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 6 years minimum in sales, 3 of which at field sales
  • Bachelor/MSC in Business Administration/Marketing/Finance
  • Strong analytical and financial skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Clear and confident communication
  • Team spirit and results oriented
  • Postgraduate degree is considered as an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of English
  • Excellent knowledge of Computer System(Office applications)
