Job Description

The Maintenance/Engineering Resource is responsible for overseeing the MRO of the plant through managing the short and long term goals of the MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) team and driving execution through the mechanics. The M/E Resource will also lead the asset reliability program for the plant by training and encouraging mechanics in predictive and preventative maintenance techniques. Additional responsibilities will include prioritizing safety and quality at all times, supervising mechanics, prioritizing work orders with production and maintenance schedules, and other tasks as assigned by site leadership.

Job Description:

  • Leading the reliability agenda of the plant
  • Understanding of Reliability Centered maintenance (RCM) and Total Productive Maintenance(TPM)
  • Performing the Failure Mode, Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMECA) for the equipment according to Bill of Materials (BOM) periodically
  • Training and encouraging the maintenance team to do thermography, vibration and ultrasonic analyses
  • Preventative Maintenance (PM) Optimization
  • Managing plant’s predictive and preventive maintenance
  • Creating a criticality analysis for the plant to ensure the continuous running of the lines
  • Reporting and controlling maintenance cost relating to parts and inventory
  • Organizing root cause analysis sessions for the team in order to reduce downtime, QC, and HSE issues
  • Ensuring all maintenance activities are done according to GEHSMS and FSMA standards
  • Following productivity agenda and managing maintenance initiatives
  • Communicating with Senior Leadership Team for reporting maintenance KPIs, sustainability data, and spare parts inventory management
  • Improve Equipment Parts Inventory and BOMs accuracy in collaboration with MRO
  • Develop the maintenance strategy, SOPs, parts list, BOMs and frequencies for new and modified equipment
  • Supervise team/contractors as needed


  • BS degree in an Engineering Discipline
  • 3-5 years experienced in industrial maintenance
  • Advanced English
  • Advance level in MS Office Application
  • Advanced Autocad Preferred
  • Demonstrates excellent communications skills, is a team worker, and is customer oriented
  • Comfortable making important decisions, focused on driving results, and capable of working under stress
  • Open to new ideas and focused on continuous improvement
  • Able to work off-shifts and weekends and holidays when necessary
