Job Description

  • Maintain good housekeeping practices
  • Maintain good communication with operators, team members, other lab techs., and outside resources
  • Set up and operation of the seasoning machines
  • Maintaining quality controls for seasoning application and salt tests (requires use and understanding of Aim Charting process)
  • Managing the conveyor system (OMS) to ensure appropriate product feed
  • Providing leadership in the assistance / guidance of Packing Technicians during changeovers to ensure performance within timeline and quality standards expectations
  • Understanding of production line schedule
  • Involved in Inventory Control Practices by providing damage report and monitoring code date on seasoning bags
  • Conduct Product Safety Management (PSM) reports for changeovers
  • Observe Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and provide GMP coaching to any personnel coming through the department
  • Support end of week sanitation duties and preventative maintenance (TPM) responsibilities as required
