Job Description

The Finance Manager role will provide regional, multi-site financial leadership across the Arlington Plant and the North America Supply Chain Operations. This role will manage an annual cost budget in excess of $220MM (~20% of PWF’s overall budget) and a capital budget of $4.5MM. The role will also manage $45MM+ of inventory in the Plant and the four US distribution centers, which sell over 2.5billion 8oz case equivalent of concentrate to the US bottlers, Lipton JV and the Mexico markets. This role will also perform as steward for company assets (fixed & inventory) and is responsible for developing and maintaining a control environment in accordance with PepsiCo policy. The role will lead the Annual Operating Plan, actuals and forecast for the North America Region, manage the Period Business Review with the PWF GM and CFO, drive the capital appropriation request process, manage the financial and operational audits, and drive execution to meet the operating and non-operating KPIs. In addition, this role will work on key transformational projects across PWF and in partnership with North America Beverages and will help provide analytics and reporting to make the right operating decisions. This role will directly support the Arlington Plant Director and leadership team, and will also provide support to the US Supply Chain Director and their leadership teams.

  • Lead the $220MM+ AOP for the Arlington Concentrate plant and the US Supply Chain / Distribution Center teams
  • Manage the period close and financial forecast for the $220MM+ budget
  • Providing meaningful analysis of financial performance and make recommendations on cost drivers to support the local management to achieve AOP and other tactical priorities
  • Lead the monthly Period Business review with the PWF General Manager and PWF CFO
  • Lead, review and approve $4.5MM of Capital Appropriation Requests for North America. Perform analytical review, including cash flow, IRR, NPV, and depreciation impact
  • Create and maintain a strong internal control environment within North America. Lead the control agenda within the region locations
  • Lead the financial management of the $45MM+ of inventory across North America
  • Drive PWF transformation projects
  • Responsible for Leading PCS&D Balance sheet reviews and account reconciliations
  • Responsible for staffing, on-boarding, training and retention of high caliber finance team
  • Other ad hoc requests

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

•8+ years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, planning and forecasting
•Bachelor’s Degree in Finance field;

Preferred Qualifications:

•CPA or MBA strongly preferred
•Strong communication and presentation skills
•Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
•Proven ability to work cross-functionally to develop workable solutions to issues
•Effective delegation and time management
•Ability to manage, coach and develop a team of qualified individuals
•Ability to interpret business performance, trends and business reasons for change
•Strong experience in leading teams
•Strong knowledge of SAP, Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC), HFM and BI
•Strong expertise in Sarbanes Oxley requirements and controls
•Ability to identify opportunities and lead change management programs
