Job Description

Administrative Assistant / Backup Cashier

General Summary:
This position contributes to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by providing general administrative support to the management team and the frontline employees.

Daily Duties:

  • Perform general administrative support work such as running reports, copying, filing, faxing, creating presentations, etc.
  • Maintain and update employee boards
  • Schedule and conduct orientation for all new hire candidates
  • Process bills for location and management team
  • Oversee donation and free goods requests process from start to finish
  • Research customer-disputed invoices and short pays
  • Complete all financial reconciliations on a period and quarterly basis
  • Maintain and order office supplies, being able to lift a minimum of 30lbs
  • Coordinate on-site and off-site large departmental meetings and events
  • Answer incoming calls in a professional and pleasant manner
  • Resolve issues and respond to routine inquiries or requests for additional information as needed and redirect to appropriate parties
  • Maintain and update distribution and contact lists
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Other Duties as Needed:
  • Provide backup cashiering support
  • Count all currency utilizing coin sorter and bill counter; lifting up to 40lbs
  • Process route checks through Bank of America scanner
  • Reconcile route activity
  • Create deposit documentation for armored car service pickup
  • Pull previous end of day cashiering paperwork from upstairs file room and submit to AR as requested

Qualifications/Requirements

OPTIMAL PRIOR EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years’ experience Admin Support Consumer Goods Company
  • Bachelor Degree preferred
  • Detailed knowledge and experience ¡n Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel
  • Ability to become proficient ¡n multiple IT applications
  • Experience in prioritizing work and multi-tasking - Strong sense of urgency
  • Outstanding organizational and follow-up skills — Discretion with sensitive information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Requires creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Respects & values differences, acts with integrity, and operates with justice
