Job Description

We are looking for a Franchise Finance intern, for a period of 6 months starting from February 2019, that acts as the right-hand side of the Franchise Finance manager for the Benelux & DACH (Germany, Austria & Switzerland) in all day-to-day business activities. These include (but are not limited to) reviewing & analysing (bottler) performance, month-end close process, monthly forecasting and creating business insights.

Key to being successful in this role is the ability to being able to think full system (PepsiCo, Bottler, Retailer, and consumer) in order to support the team with the correct information to make the best decisions. Own initiative in improvement and harmonisation of processes and/or reports is highly valued and appreciated. This unique and challenging internship gives you a great learning experience in the worlds of Finance and Franchise Management at a major international company, including a wide variety of tasks and possibility to bring up your own ideas.

In this role, you will work with the Social Beverage team (marketing, franchise manager, franchise finance team), finance and control in both Benelux and DACH). With your colleagues in the Franchise Finance team, you will work on further developing the financial reporting processes. You will report to the Franchise Finance Manager.

To be successful in this internship, you will need a strong curiosity and eagerness to learn & understand new processes coupled with sharp analytical ability and strong communication skills. This will enable you to interpret numbers correctly, and convert them into concrete advice/reporting.

Qualifications/Requirements

Who are we looking for?

You are someone who:

  • is an WO Bachelor’s or Master’s student or graduated (max. 3 months) with an affinity Business Administration or Business Economics;
  • is accurate, analytical and proficient in Excel and PowerPoint;
  • has an assertive & curious attitude – asks many questions, can work independently;
  • is enthusiastic, positive, accurate, and ambitious;
  • excels in analysing data and can tell the story behind the data;
  • is fluent in English (in both speaking and writing) German and/or Dutch is an advantage.
