In an ever-changing consumer landscape characterized by an increasing number of better-for-you options, category captaincy in Water is critical to the long-run success of PepsiCo’s North American Beverages (NAB) portfolio agenda. As the Water+ team, our job is to accelerate growth with a multi-brand water portfolio, doubling the business to $3B by 2021 and becoming the undisputed leader in branded water solutions to meet & shape consumer needs.

Critical to achieving this aggressive goal is driving outsized performance with core Retail and strategic Foodservice, eCommerce & Natural Grocery customers. The Senior Manager of Water+ commercial marketing is responsible for applying CCO principles to translate the broader brand agenda into valuable application specifically for strategic growth channels. This individual will partner closely with the relevant channel organizations to set goals, build programming and deliver smart execution that amplifies brand messaging and enables us to outperform category growth with their unique customers.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead ongoing relationship with Foodservice, eCommerce & Natural channel partners to ensure Water+ brands are properly executed according to brand strategy
  • Identify opportunities to tap into the unique properties of strategic growth channels for incremental brand-building value
  • Partner with channel leads to evolve long-term brand strategy
  • Provide support for/input into the annual operating plan process and serve as the conduit for translating the Water+ AOP agenda into channel- and customer-specific priorities, tools and plans
  • Collaborate with Innovation on execution of any channel-specific propositions
  • Oversee periodic scorecarding of Water+ strategic growth channels performance; leverage reporting, category expertise, strategic analysis and insights to identify incremental opportunities
  • Serve as Water+ representative to key customer meetings and new business pitches
  • Act as commercial marketing lead for emerging brand

Qualifications/Requirements

Minimum: Qualification: Undergraduate Degree

Preferred: MBA

Work Experience:

  • Minimum: 10 years prior experience (if Undergrad degree only) OR 8 years of prior experience (if Advanced degree)
  • Preferred: Prior Marketing experience within consumer packaged goods
