Project Quality Analyst Leader LATAM

Main Purpose

Lead the shopper insights information flow to the Organized Trade Channel team, including supermarkets, convenience stores and chain pharmacies, by leveraging in his/her expertise and using all the purchased market tools (Nielsen Retail Index, Scan track, Home Scan and others) to generate insights that add value to the business and facilitate the decision making in time and scope. This, by applying an integrative thinking with all the tools across Mexican market territory

Main responsibilities

  • Lead and drive the agenda aiming to create the right forums to analyze and present conclusions hypothesis and recommendations based on OT business questions aiming to ensure that all the brands and business functions have clear perspectives on the channels performance
  • Provide value added and integrate sources of information to monthly monitor the share of market movements specific for the channel and understanding the drivers that cause the changes and by using all available Nielsen Tools. E.g. Nielsend Day specific for the channel
  • Design and execute the annual work plan/annual learning plan/annual research plan by aligning objectives, calendars, information availability, participant lists and budget with theChannel stakeholders
  • Ensure that prioritires of the channels are embeeded into the plan to guarantee continuous added value in the deliverables along the course of the year
  • Evaluate, select and brief the right agency to perform the required market research studies
  • Coordinate trining plans to OT Channel members in the different market insights tools uses and interpretations to ensure that the information is read, interpreted and used in a correct manner
  • Coordinate and input the Nielsen annual work plan ensuring deliverables, outstanding items and tasks in time and form, to ensure that the OT Channel has always a high quality service and of added value from the supplier.
  • Share and reappy the best practices and relevant findings with the members of the insights team with the finality of exporting knowledge and generate an information flow in both ways to elevate the level of the delivered insights


Experience and profile
  • Bachelor’s degree (International Business, Marketing and or Industrial Engineer)
  • At least 3 years in the Shopper Insights functions and in the design and execution of qualitative and quantitative research studies and/or 5 years in the Insights function
  • At least 3 years in the use of Nielsen tools
  • 2-3 years experience in FMCG industry
  • Proven results in the delivery of actionable recommendations by combining diverse sources of information
  • Fluent English (Oral and Written)
  • Office tools (Word, Power Point, Excel)

Qualifications/Requirements
