Job Description

This position contributes to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by providing general administrative support for a PBC location. Hours 8:00 – 4:30pm.
Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide dedicated administrative support in a professional, confidential and organized manner
  • Monitor email and phone calls; proactively respond to and/or coordinate issues when possible
  • Manage and reconcile locations donations/sampling process
  • Handle company uniform ordering process
  • New customer set ups including sales tax, delivery days, etc.
  • Handle and communicate union based route bid postings
  • Daily use of house handheld to prepare will call orders for customer pickup
  • Help to plan and execute retirement parties and other company events as needed
  • Daily/Weekly reporting as needed
  • Provide administrative support to a variety of departments/managers
  • Effectively manage customer delivery inquiry system
  • Maintain high level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential material on a daily basis
  • Work on special projects as necessary
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and initiative
  • Backfill Cashier and receptionist as needed

Qualifications/Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (Bachelor Degree preferred)
• 2+ years’ experience Admin Support
• Show strong attention to detail and communicate effectively with internal and external customers
• Demonstrate highest integrity, maturity, professionalism, and respect for others, both internally (Functional Teams) and externally
• Ability to work proficiently and calmly under pressure situations
• Must be a strong team player and assist other department staff when necessary
• Willingness to learn and take on projects
• Ability to handle multiple changing priorities simultaneously in sometimes challenging situations and keeping management involved as needed
• Experience in prioritizing work and multi-tasking - Strong sense of urgency
• Detailed knowledge and experience in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Requires creative thinking and problem-solving skills
• Respects & values differences, acts with integrity, and operates with justice

Preferred Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree
• Previous administrative experience
• Previous experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
