Job Description

The role is responsible for creating, implementation and execution of unique methodology for in-shelf space tracking (share of assortment, share of space, secondary placement, interruption points etc) through all Spo1 sales channels, including partnering with Pep Senior Sales Directors to validate, align and follow-up key points of in-field execution quality evaluation and control, managing separate budget for the tool and leading external suppliers management (starting from tender step). The role prepares and provides main input for PBRs for all categories and channels, and provides inputs on AOP on shelf contribution. The role also covers capability development for Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain on in-shelve space tracking online and offline tools implementation and application. The role is key contact for ESSA IT in image recognition piloting project across ESSA.
The role impacts whole Pep sales team target setting approach and KPIs.

Accountabilities:
1. Execute Customer Insights Agenda
2. Develop understanding of competitor performance and strategies on in-store execution front (AOP planning)
3. Support AOP planning (AOP planning) via Situational Analysis development
4. Drive in-store execution performance reviews for key customers, channels and sales teams (Performance Management)
5. Drive in-store execution excellence via strong usage & high data quality of In-store Tracking (Performance M.)
6. Ensure influence via implications summary & mitigating actions from it (Performance Management)
7. Support CatMan plans development based on in-store tracking insights (Category Management)
8. Drive continues learning and capability improvement
9. Drive & support multi-source approach to the request i.e. partner effectively with other Insights
10. Contract and maintain winning relationships with shopper and market data providers, ensuring PEP is on their priority list in terms of quality and speed of services provided
11. Drive return on Insights investment - be champion of knowledge monetization via ensuring focus on projects that really matter and have visible impact on business

12. Cooperate with Sector on new tools and business cases on In-store Excellence, support on Local/International New In-store generation creation
13. Execute business partnering approach & drive to influence decisions, challenge (in a constructive way) exisiting solutions as well as partner in developing new solutions

Qualifications/Requirements

• Degree in Marketing & Insights/ Economics/ Mathematics / Statistics
• Minimum of 3 years Market Research experience in a leading FMCG company with mix of Market, Shopper, Consumer Research background; Experience in Sales and Trade Mktg or on Retailer side is appreciated.
• Knowledge of macro-economic, social and retail trends in working knowledge about shopper research methods and techniques;
• Basic strategic thinking and high level analytical skills
• Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with external suppliers, external customers, internal middle management stakeholders
• Budget management
• Fluent English, Good communication skills
• Excellent presentation and project management skills
• High level of flexibility, Good in driving for results, Has leadership skills potential
