Job Description

The Chilled Channel Customer Development rep ( CDM) will be responsible for assisting in the identification of selling opportunities, selling of new business and for merchandising products across all operating companies of PepsiCo Chilled Tropicana, Naked Juice, IZZE, Kevita, Sabra. The Food Service CDM will be in the market 5 days a week developing existing accounts and opening new accounts for the Chilled DSD Foodservice segment

  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with customers and drive customer satisfaction through superior service and execution
  • Customer development responsibility: selling, merchandising, conducting sampling events and customer training
  • Sell new items (line extensions) and open new customers for all of PepsiCo’s Chilled operating companies
  • Coordinate placement of new equipment and ensure flawless execution of logistics
  • Fill, rotate beverage equipment while maintaining approved plan-o-grams
  • Aid in the effective management of SKU’s and product mix for all assigned customers
  • Successful candidates will drive volume, revenue and working towards exceeding the AOP
  • Advanced analytical skills

  • LOCATION SEMI-FLEX: Reside in Southern California Orange/Riverside/San Bernadino/LA Counties preferred

Qualifications/Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of fact-based selling experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • Reside in Southern California Orange/Riverside/San Bernadino/LA Counties preferred
  • Food Service or consumer packaged goods experience
  • Must be willing and able to lift 40 lbs. periodically
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Superior time management skills, ability to handle multiple projects, set priorities and plan and adapt to a changing environment
  • Outstanding communications and collaboration skills
  • Clearly communicates all results and opportunities to manager and zone team
  • Strong Computer Skills
  • Self-Starter, ability to work independently in the absence of direct supervision
  • Strong execution and follow-up skills
