We are currently recruiting for a Nutrition Insights Business Partner to join us, who will be responsible for delivering integrated insights to both UK commercial and Western Europe category stakeholders. The Nutrition Insights Business Partner will integrate the breadth of insights from around the business to drive clarity on opportunities. In addition to:

  • Manage and connect data sets and insight sources to provide steer to business on specific business issues (execute)
  • Deliver high quality analysis and research to customer and stakeholder teams to shape customer, marketing and business plans (consult)
  • Integrate insights into brand planning processes and influence Marketing teams to take decisions based on robust consumer, shopper and customer insight (consult)
  • Strongly inform and influence AOP Planning (consult)
  • Build advantaged insights which increase our influence with key customers (execute, decide)
  • Leverage Market and Shopper Analytics to drive holistic performance reviews and business tear down (execute)
  • Commission and manage high quality primary shopper research to support the building of growth (execute)
  • Play an active role in the ESSA Insights Transformation journey, collaborating across boundaries
  • Persuasively influence stakeholders in sales, commercial and category – establish rapport, credibility and trust
  • Relentlessly work to surface the truth to improve business decision making in all places; communicate with courage and candour.
  • Intelligently balance the art and science of quantitative and qualitative insights to uncover the best possible version of the truth.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Qualifications/requirements
  • Degree in relevant subject required, Masters preferred
  • Strong commercial acumen – has been in a selling role or partnering with sales people
  • Excellent grasp of customer dynamics and interests, able to shape plans according to customer agenda
  • Able to manage a workload, prioritizing appropriately and ensuring that insight is delivered in the right ofrums in the right way
  • Can synthesise large and complex data sets into simple, compelling stories
  • Good grasp on UK FMCG market dynamics and particularly retail practices
  • Able to influence and bring others around to their way of thinking, at various levels of seniority
