Job Description

  • Ensure precise and accurate inventories and dates in National Inventory in concurrence with Customer Service and Logistics to meet Sales Orders to Customers and Finance Control items
  • Supervise Site Inventory Counts and Corporate QA Holds required for Financial Compliance and QA Regulations
  • Complete analysis of inventory counts, root cause of variances and action plans
  • Manage obsolescence and disposition of products with Marketing and/or Supply Chain Manager on when to Discount, Donate or Destroy product. This includes negotiations with liquidation stores
  • Manage shipping and receiving discrepancies and daily staging files
  • Manage Donation requests
  • Ownership of GPID and New Employee forms for new warehouses and copackers, including coordinating business set up issues with the Help Desk. This also includes ongoing support for any system issues at copackers
  • Inventory deployment – responsible for scrutinizing Logility pass to ensure accurate regional replenishment planning, then leads primary & secondary deployment of Foods & Snacks for the Canadian market-place from North American sourcing facilities
  • Lead deployment of innovation to meet start ship targets (i.e. Pipeline fill for new products; ensuring DC’s have inventory for launch date)
  • Responsible for ensuring customer service levels and obsolescence targets are achieved


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Production, Supply Chain, Inventory management
  • Knowledge of netted and dependent demand signals
  • Strong understanding of commercialization and de-commercialization process.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across all internal and external contacts
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills
