Job Description

This role contributes to the success of Pepsi Beverages Company (PBC) by managing the financial reporting processes for PBC.

  • Assist with preparation of PBC US Bottling financials and various management reporting schedules (Risk & Opportunities, Quality of Earnings, Cash Flow, and MD&A)
  • Assist with overall Control function G&A reporting and forecasting, including headcount reporting
  • Coordinate and consolidate Field and HQ Balance Sheet Reviews
  • Manage the collection and completion of CSE volume and input into HFM and Whole/Net Flashes
  • Maintain strong SOX control environment by documenting and reviewing all processes, key controls, and desktop procedures to ensure alignment with PBC / Corporate policies
  • Prepare and review periodic/quarterly reporting schedules
  • Ensure financial reporting deliverables to PBC HQ are accurate and timely
  • Identify areas of opportunity for automation and simplification
  • Independently work through other various ad hoc projects

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in accounting/financial reporting (CPA preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Public accounting experience with Big 4 firm
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word, with the ability to learn and utilize multiple systems including SAP, Oracle, Hyperion and Business Objects
  • Must be proactive and be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work cross-functionally
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
