As the PepsiCo North America Nutrition Category Manager within Key NAN categories, you will partner with the field Category Management organization and internal insights/sales functions to drive category leadership and customer collaboration on NAN brands. You will drive insights to action via:

  • Owning the creation of a series of actionable National Category Stories that fuels our key Category Growth objectives and Strategic Customer Initiatives for the North American Nutrition portfolio.
  • Building knowledge base and advantaged expertise in category foresight and consumer/shopper macro trends for key categories
  • Demonstrating strong analytics and strategic thought leadership in driving best-in-class assortment and shelving recommendations
  • Drive and shape the strategic category insights and recommendations for annual growth initiatives development
  • Lead in optimal wiring and ways of working across the entire Category Management organization, and cross-functionally with Sales Mobilization, Sales Strategy, Shopper Insights, and Consumer Insights/Analytics

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience, MBA a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry preferred
  • 3+ years in Category Management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to demonstrate individual, team, and project leadership skills
  • Strong personal motivation and ability to effectively work independently as well as collaboratively across multiple functions
  • Strong knowledge of syndicated data via IRI/Nielsen
  • Understanding of consumer data via Panel, Shopper Sight, Retailer Loyalty, etc.
  • Strong analytic skills
  • Effective organization skills
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Access
