The selected candidate can sit in either the South or Mountain Region

This position contributes to the success of the South & Mountain PepsiCo Regions by providing industrial engineering support for the manufacturing plants. This individual is responsible for engineering work for plants across the region and will travel 60% of the time. This role will heavily skew to warehouses as well as annual AOP development support


Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

  • Assures warehouse productivity to maximize facility throughput
  • Implements process enhancements to improve process enhancements to improve warehouse operations
  • Utilizes visual factory concepts to maximize asset utilization and plant performance
  • Builds the capability of warehouse supervisors and technicians
  • Tracks standard manufacturing and warehouse measures and prioritizes plant maintenance opportunities
  • Maintains P&L responsibility over warehouse cost centers, maintenance cost centers, shells, utilities and capital improvement plans

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 4 year degree or 8-10 years prior experience preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of operations
  • A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Mechanical experience maintaining production equipment
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel 60% of times

Preferred Job Qualifications:
  • Warehouse loading experience, voice pick qualified
  • Inventory Experience
  • Layout and slotting experience
