Role:
- This contractor role is dedicated to North APAC (priority) & GCR productivity. The candidate will manage seasoning productivity projects from briefing to development, to internal testing and / or consumer validation, to documentation, to seasoning functionality assessment and / or on-line trial, till they’re signed off the business, in time with quality, per contract from GP. This is a 12 month contractor position, based in PepsiCo Asia R&D Center in Shanghai.

Accountabilities:
- Set the right action standard per Productivity Risk & Rigor matrix, by leading the discussion between R&D SCPI & GP;
- Integrate PwP Sodium compliance for necessary ones;
- Execute & manage the seasoning reformulation brief by working closely with supplier(s);
▪ Write clear seasoning reformulation brief;
▪ Arrange internal evaluation and testing, together with SCPI;
▪ Prepare samples for consumer validation and brief SCPI to execute;
▪ Complete seasoning functionality assessment;
▪ Complete seasoning documentation;
▪ Sign off to GP / Business

Measurements:
- Quality of seasoning delivery (time, cost, regulatory & functionality)
- PwP sodium compliance
- Collaboration with R&D teams & key business partners (GP), feedback required
- Partnership with flavor houses (clarity in brief, communication), feedback required

Qualifications/Requirements

Requirements:
- Higher degree in Foods / Chemistry / Engineering or related disciplines;
- Minimum of 3 years’ previous experience in FMCG ( Food preferably) R&D, product or technology development roles & ability to demonstrate established competence at product and process development;
- English is a must (upper);
- Strives for high standards, seeks innovative solutions, drives continuous improvement of products and processes and demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail;
- Established project management skills to effectively & efficiently drive multiple projects across different markets;
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and negotiate effectively internally & externally, to influence with integrity to win support;
- Good Presentation skills (written & verbal);
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and distil into meaningful information e.g. interpreting consumer insights;
- Ability to explain complex technical issues / solutions to a non-technical audience;
- High degree of attention to detail, highly numerate and computer literate (Microsoft Office).
