Job Description

  • Ensure PepsiCo Supply Chain inventory systems and processes support measured Supply Chain metrics such as product availability, inventory accuracy, LSC, and Productivity requirements
  • Responsible for completing accurate and timely inventory and warehouse reporting requirements
  • Manage warehouse inventory capacity levels with the 3PL and Deployment Planning, balancing material inventory needs and dock capacity schedules
  • Identify and execute order fill best resolution based on deployment planning schedules and by lot when backing up Cedar Delivery Processor
  • Help monitor new product innovations and discontinuations
  • Maintain and enhance established relationship with Midwest 3PL provider(s) to support manufacturing activities through timely order fulfillment and inventory reconciliation
  • Manage damage product/labor reporting and reconciliation
  • Monitor and reduce aged or Non-conforming product (NCP) inventory
  • Coordinate NCP product final dispositions on finished goods with Quality Control and Finance through quality measures and processes
  • Special projects as identified for Operations, Customization, Inventory, and Transportation


  • 4 year college degree
  • Red Prairie WMS operating systems as related to order fulfillment, trailer check in/out and LOT management
  • SAP Inventory integrity and management, outbound and inbound order management
  • SAP Material Determination Tables for manage material item slash codes and versions
  • ETMD-JDA Transportation Management System to create and rate loads to correct carrier on lane based on RTM identification
  • 2+ years’ experience with inventory order management & control with LOT coded items around high-turn finished goods
  • Keen ability to maintain and improve customer relations with Distribution and Co-packaging Third Party Logistics (3PL) vendors by use of prudent and collaborative decision making with emphasis and understanding on how it impacts a manufacturing and GTM supply chain models
  • Good understanding of contractual services agreement language and general operational clauses
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, in particular when working with multiple cultures and customs
  • Capability to independently obtain, analyze and report data in a progressive and independent fashion using available system and reports
  • Good understanding of food safety programs including AIB
  • Willing to travel 1-2x's per year
