The Fleet Compliance Manager will provide leadership and support to NAB Fleet Field operations. This key leader will collaborate on short term execution and long-term strategy for the largest private fleet in North America.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide leadership and support to NAB Fleet Associates for Safety and Sustainability
  • Establish a collaborative and effective partnership with all departments and functions
  • Implement tactics and processes to reduce cost and improve compliance
  • Champion People and Capability development with Teams
  • Identify opportunities, develop action plans, and lead project material development
  • Leverage analytical competencies to provide new insights on supply chain operations
  • Support creation and implementation of annual operational plans
  • Responsible for Sustainability, Environmental, Health and Safety reporting for NAB Fleet
  • Develop/Responsible for National Fleet Technician Safety Program and Compliance reporting
  • Identifies performance trends and recommend corrective action measures when needed
  • Build NAB Fleet Sustainability planning, as well as, emissions reporting and compliance
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Consolidate required field compliance training
  • Works with State and Federal agencies to seek eligible fleet grants and prepares grant reporting
  • Support Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration CSA detail and reporting
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Prior fleet, safety, sustainability or supply chain experience

Key Skills / Experiences:
  • Proven experience in leading complex Supply Chain operations with a record of delivering results
  • Demonstrated capability in Supply Chain functions, technical understanding of fleet maintenance and repair, service and/or logistics
  • Advanced communication skills to positively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Creative Problem Solving: Ability and passion for creative, out of the box thinking to develop and vet solutions for the business, as well as a willingness to question the status quo and generally accepted beliefs
  • Influencing & Communication Skills: Possess the ability to communicate effectively and succinctly, both verbal and written; ability to influence others and communicate in an open and honest way that quickly builds trust and respect
  • Entrepreneurial or Business Development Mentality: Beyond basic fleet service, candidate must exhibit experience in driving action against the supply chain to execute key initiatives.
  • Structured & Logical Thinking: Ability to define business problems and frameworks, and discern what is important
  • Project Management Capabilities: Demonstrated capability to manage multiple stakeholders to high quality output against regular deadlines
  • Motivation: Self-motivated, high energy individual who can easily function in a high demand, performance-driven environment
  • Intellectual Curiosity: Awareness of emerging trends and desire to action against
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Understand cultural and social differences in key regions and markets
  • Comfort in Ambiguity: Adaptability in less-structured environments (able to “jump in” and contribute even when facts are not yet 100% clear); ability to quickly figure out solutions to complex issues
  • Tenacity: Persistent and resilient in the pursuit of objectives, can shift gears easily, is willing to take on new challenges and works to resolve issues
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and familiarity with maintenance management systems
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in related industry
