Job Description

What you'll do:

Develop corn short, medium and long term strategies based on E2E quality process, analysis execution to optimize costs and operation; as a result comply productivity, cashflow targets of the business and ensure a quality flawless supply for plants. Asure the quality KPIs and the raw material track of the Quality end to end process in order of guarantee the espesifications of the corn raw material.

Roles & Responsibilities May Include:

  • Establish, develop and lead short-long term sourcing strategies through food safety and quality control programs for the following years to ensure PEP competitiveness and supply.
  • Implement Quality control Audits abd scorecards for corn supliers.
  • Analyze financial /supply and market factors of the category to integrate pricing and productivity
  • Drive partnership with senior business leaders/ stakeholders and suppliers to develop strategic and innovative projects to support the future success of the business
  • Colaborate with other PEP regions, to share best practices and develop regional strategies
  • Implement a supplier's development programam according to End to end quality process.
  • Purchase and compliance according to playbook
  • Build robust playbook based on risk management, quality and financial perspective according commodity global and local market dynamic
  • Design the commercial contracting with a complete vision of the business and risks.
  • SFP strategy development.
  • Establish a corn Quality raw material scorecard to guarantee the main KPIs.
  • Establish a quality certificaction program for the corn supliers.
  • Develop quality and food safety audits for the corn vendors sites.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree needed (Industrial Engineering, International Trade or Finance).
  • 3-5 years of experience in quality and food safety.
  • Advanced Excel
  • Procurement or finance background
  • Agro knowledge- Nice to have
  • Advanced English level (Conversational and written)
  • Experience buying goods and commodities – Nice to have
  • ERP (SAP / ARIBA) experience – Nice to have

Skills:

  • Able to build relationships over the phone without meeting suppliers / customers on a regular basis)
  • Your ability to communicate effectively and succinctly at all levels of an organization; ability to influence others and communicate in an open and honest way that quickly builds trust and respect.
  • Self-motivated, high energy individual who can easily function in a high demand, goal-oriented environment.
  • Collaborate and influence.
  • Persistent and resilient in the pursuit of objectives, can shift gears easily, is willing to take on new challenges and works to resolve issues
