Job Description

The AP Reporting & Analytics Associate Analyst is responsible for reporting and analysis of business activity related to Supplier Financial Services (SFS) within PepsiCo North America Shared Services (NASS). In addition to providing critical information to divisional controllers and PepsiCo cross-functional teams, the position is also responsible for supporting various corporate initiatives through reporting, research and analysis, and preparing periodic performance review presentations for NASS leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

•Prepare, analyze, and verify multiple periodic AP balance and vendor spend reports.
•Produce Procure-to-Pay related and AP metric reports, providing insights to divisional teams.
•Generate and verify balance sheet reconciliations for all AP Trade Accounts.
•Extract and transform vendor spend data required for cash flow forecasting models from ERP or EDW systems.
•Conduct time-sensitive research and report spend and other details on related party activity at the request of the Legal organization.
•Deliver various ad-hoc reporting requests received from the divisional controller and finance teams.
•Prepare data for periodic and quarterly balance sheet reviews for multiple cross-divisional accounts.
•Prepare various spend, open balance and cash flow reports using multiple data sources and reporting tools including Toad, SAP BW, SQL queries and Tableau.
•Develop process automation through UIPath RPA, VBA, or other technologies.
•Analyze, report and monitor resolution of AP and GR/IR account aging.
•Research and interpret AP balance cause of change.
•Identify and assist in implementation of process improvements and reporting enhancements.


The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, an eye for detail, advanced knowledge of Excel, and a quick learning style. He/she will demonstrate a continuous process mindset and aptitude for understanding business process. The candidate will be capable of building collaborative relationships to work effectively with others, and demonstrate drive for results in a dynamic environment.

Minimum Job Requirements:

•Bachelor’s degree in related field of study (e.g. Finance, Business, Mathematics, Information Systems, Accounting, Engineering, etc.)
•2+ years’ experience in financial analysis, statistics, accounting, etc.
•Advanced Excel skills and PowerPoint proficiency
•Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills
•Precision and an eye for detail are crucial to this role
•ERP system (SAP and Oracle) reporting experience preferred
•General understanding of Procure-to-Pay cycle preferred
•Familiarity with Tableau dashboards a plus
•SQL query knowledge a plus
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
