Job Description

The Tech Capability Supervisor has responsibility to support the field fleet operations and ensure successful execution of fleet capability programs, policies and training agenda.

  • Lead the advancement of capability in fleet operations across Pepsi Fleet
  • Partner with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), training vendors, Center of Excellence, and headquarters staff, to ensure training programs and standards meet business needs
  • Lead Technician Efficiency programs through field execution
  • Develop and execute technician training
  • Serve as the fleet expert in technician systems, tooling, and maintenance procedures
  • Conduct and/or coordinate technician train-the-trainer, beginner, intermediate, and advanced training courses
  • Assist in the development of technical and non-technical capability training for the field team
  • Assist in the development and execute key projects (People, Process and Technology)
  • Become involved in the industry: Peer fleets, professional organizations, gov't and non-government organizations, trade associations, and academia to align with industry and bring best practices inside
  • Other projects as assigned by manager


  • Demonstrated change management experience
  • Strong leadership skills including influencing skills with cross functional partners
  • Leadership skills including coaching, facilitation, presentation and team building with all levels of the organization
  • Strong ability to influence cross functional teams
  • Project management, and continuous improvement experience
  • Experience in executing sustainability, reliability, and capability strategy within fleet operations
  • Effective interaction and partnership building skills with customers, sales and ops and external suppliers
  • Ability to travel to field locations and suppliers (50%-70%)
  • Ability to integrate into the PepsiCo Team and contribute to people and organizational development
  • Understanding and demonstration of PepsiCo values and culture
Desirable Skills & Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of fleet industry experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma experience preferred
  • ASE Master Technician preferred
  • Leadership and change management training
  • Compliance management experience DOT, EPA, OSHA
  • Industry partnership and networking expertise
  • Fleet Management & technician experience
  • Technician coaching & development experience
