Job Description

  • Drive Insights Vision into Operating Unit (OU) and acts as an integrator for Snacks and Cookies & Crackers (C&C) categories:
  • Actively participate to build LATAM Insights vision and set the agenda to deliver world class Insights capabilities and embed them in the Country and Snacks and C&C Categories
  • Lead the Strategic Insights agenda for the Snacks and C&C Categories and the Country in an Integrator Role, across Insights disciplines (Consumer, Shopper, Analytics), and embed them into business processes to help drive top and bottom line
  • Partner with Analytics to ensure a category/share forecasting, and embed into business planning process.
  • Partner with to Shopper Insights to translate Demand Spaces into Shopper implications for OT and DTS and leverage to guide GTM plans.

Drives the agenda for Snacks and C&C and connects with GSG:
  • Coordinate the strategic planning process for the Snacks and C&C Categories in the country from an insights perspective, and embed relevant / inspiring insights into the process
  • Lead Brand Drivers understanding and leverage them to inform future Positioning and Communication plans for defined brands (Regional for Snacks and C&C).
  • Implement harmonized and risk-adjusted Innovation validation plans, and meta-analyses, to ensure fewer, bigger and better innovations are launched to market for defined innovation initiatives. And integrate innovation forecasting model to the assessment.
  • Partner closely with Sector and Global Insights leaders to maximize leverage and synergies as relevant.

Cultural and human expert of the country:
  • Partner with Sector Capabilities Trends and Foresight understanding and embed those insights into OU
  • Locally lead People Closeness in & out leveraging technology.

Voice of the people and customers for ExComm:
  • Implement yearly situational analysis to inform PSP with key strategic opportunities for the business anchored into a regional framework, and define winning strategies to exploit these.
  • Lead External Inspiration Programm and Experts Influencers for Excomm and Marketing community

Owns consumer perspective & develop people expertisse:
  • Build & manage strong relationships with best in class Insights Agencies, in a Regional or Local scope, to drive superior partnerships, enable productivity, and continuously stretch the Insights agenda for PepsiCo.
  • Build a High Performing Teams that significantly grows our categories and brands.

Qualifications/Requirements

Requirements:
  • Expertise on theoretical and practical knowledge in quantities and qualitative research tools, statistics, sensorial analysis techniques.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish
  • Proven ability to drive transformation and set a stretching Insights agenda, across the 3 Insights disciplines (Consumer, Shopper, and Analytics)
  • Proven ability to up-skill the organization, and build capabilities that drive results
  • Proven influencing and perseverance skills to tailor recommendation to the needs of stakeholders and effectively engage them to obtain commitment and drive impact.Challenges organization & suppliers to innovate with better tools & processes to ensure constant progress of PepsiCo Insights.
  • Insights technical mastery expertise: Significant experience and ability to leverage Insights methods to drive business plans, across the full breadth of insight disciplines:
  • Identifies systemic knowledge/data gaps across organization & solves for them.
  • Proven ability to inspire and motivate direct reports, and grow and develop them to get to peak performance.​Operates effectively in matrix relationships across organisational boundaries
