Main PURPOSE

The process Supervisor should ensure the all the process lines are running as planned and deliver the output with maximum material efficiency, line efficiency and labour efficiency at a target level decided by the business with out compromising the Quality, Food safety and People safety.
Communicate the issues and updates with the management and cascade the management decisions to the process people and update the agreed actions.
Develop the process work force in compatible with PepsiCo standards by means of various training programs
Motivate the process operators and workers to deliver maximum performance in their respective work areas.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :


 Communicate the operators regarding the production plan and execution plan.
 Ensure the People availability to run the line.
 Ensure the process areas and equipments comply the hygiene and food safety standards.
 Ensure the safe working practices inside the plant.
 Ensure the operators are running the line efficiently.
 Ensure all the process control checks are recorded accurately.
 Ensure Quality wall meetings are conducted at the required intervals.
 Ensure Operators and workers strictly following hygiene and food safety requirements.
 Ensure the products coming out from the line meeting quality specifications.
 Ensure necessary steps have been taken to minimize the product hold due to discrepancy in quality.
 Summarize the Basic Efficiency, Seasoning Efficiency, Oil efficiency and labour efficiency periodically and feed back to the people to improve the efficiency.
 Identify the issue which is affecting the efficiency and prepare the action plan to improve the opportunity areas.
 Ensure proper resources are available for the labours and operators to perform their job correctly and in right way.
 Develop Site Expert Trainer candidates to establish stable technical work force in the process.
 Tracking the engineering work requests completion.
 Energy usage tracking and improvement action plan.
 Monitor the people efficiency and machine efficiency and develop specific tasks to improve the efficiency.
 Optimize the people mapping.
 Maintain personal discipline in the process floor.
 Ensure wastage tracking has been recorded all the times.
 Proper Shift level communication.
 Should conduct trainings or refreshment training to all his subordinates (_Process operators, Process Workers)
at least once a year.
 Should attend meetings and trainings.
 Responsible in giving & evaluating the Performance of his subordinates.
 Should manage the staffing ratio of Process operators & Process workers working under his responsibilities (break time, cleaning during change flavor, time in and time out).
 Well manage the MP2/SAP Programs and maintain full utilization.
 Should make sure that quality products transferred to packaging at all times.
 Should maintain all Equipment’s under his responsibilities in good condition at all times, by conducting a random check if the operators are conducting the proper maintenance checklist.
 Should always maintain the area clean at all times (GMP). (checklist).
 Should report all health hazards within his work place to his manager, issue work request.
 Emphasize team work and cooperation.
 Support IPS audits & Food safety audits.
 Effective utilization of energy such as Water, Gas, Electricity etc.

Qualifications/Requirements

EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:


 Preferred work experience with Process Equipment’s.
 Having Diploma degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
 Basic communication skills.
 Should have a good working attitude.
 Ability to work with the team.
 Commitment to quality.
 Respect each other.
 Basic Computer skills.
