Job Description

Key Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure inventory is updated using Avantis (computerized maintenance management system)
  • Receive parts for work orders and inventory
  • Update Avantis inventory when receiving part
  • Ensure inventory is accurate using sign out sheets/scanner
  • Complete "Critical Spare" inventory counts
  • Assist in inventorying the entire stock room on a cycle count basis
  • Communicate with Planner, Scheduler, and Purchaser concerning work order parts
  • Manage plant to plant parts transfers
  • Work with Purchasing Admin. to ensure parts are properly received and all paper work completed
  • Assist Purchasing Admin. with tracking parts for warranty purposes
  • Occasionally pick up parts at vendor locations on an emergency basis
  • Keep all parts drawers and cabinets organized and well labeled
  • Make stock codes and stock locations for new parts
  • Assist others in locating and checking out parts
  • Pack and ship packages for repair, return, etc.
  • Ensure stock room is neat and orderly at all time
  • Communicate cross-functionally to assist team to address Supply Chain opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs on a routine basis
  • Schedule Flexibility

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Process or gain a full understanding of a Manufacturing Parts Room / Tool Crib
  • Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task
  • 3 - 5 years of Business, Engineering, Maintenance or Supply Chain experience
  • Ability to navigate and perform work in Avantis
  • Ability to navigate and perform work in Oracle, myBuy & SAP
