The Field Sales Strategy Manager (FSM), based in the Pennsylvania/MNY market, will have external sales strategy responsibility for approximately $50MM in annual NR across the Tropicana, Naked Juice and Kevita beverage business. This role will be linked to specific grocery customers for example; Price Chopper, Key Foods, Weis, Big Y. In addition to providing FSM support, this position will be the market/customer analyst for driving execution in key retailers in the East Region.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure customers within assigned geography deliver plan including net revenue, share, and profit within SROT guidelines
  • To lead the business unit growth agenda across the East Region
  • Communicate local market data and competitive information to business unit partners to ensure development of win/win strategies that drives incremental net revenue, profit, & share growth
  • Assist in development and delivery of innovation sell stories, field sales planning guide and season sell materials
  • Collaborate with customer manager, sales finance and category management to identify incremental growth opportunities that result in positive VGP and share growth
  • Attend strategic customer meetings and be the subject expert for the Fruit and Veg brands

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred
  • 3-5 years' selling experience in consumer packaged goods sales team with past customer sales experience in the grocery channel (preferably in the Northeast)
  • Business systems, internal and external data sources (particularly IRI) and tools
  • Excellent analytical & technical skills – experience with IRI/syndicated data, Consumer Panel data as well as Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong presentation development skills (Development and delivery to various levels)
  • Successful Account Management within the grocery channel (Prefer past experience within and super premium categories)
  • Exceptional results orientation – with a high degree of personal initiative and leadership
  • Ability to utilize data to create compelling selling stories that support key brands/initiatives
  • Strong time management skills, ability to handle multiple projects, set priorities and plan
  • Solid use of influencing skills to gain alignment agreement and commitments
  • Must be willing and able to travel ~30%
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
