Job Description

The Sr. Manager CSCI will be the direct owner of all customer relationships for a specific set of customers. They will drive focus, root cause analysis, and cross-functional accountability to deliver gold standard service. This person will be responsible for developing and implementing continuous process improvement to drive sustainable performance.

  • Subject matter expert for assigned customers and customer policies
  • Responsible for understanding Supply Chain operations including warehousing, transportation, supply and demand planning and their impact on service levels and cost; responsible for managing those costs to meet PepsiCo Financials
  • Drives firm understanding of internal and external customer systems; assesses system limitations and provides guidance on upgrades to drive improved performance and tracking
  • Responsible for delivering KPIs related to managing the Customer Supply Chain network, including, but not limited to, customer fine mitigation, truckload optimization, detention charge reduction, improved fill rates, on time delivery, reduced out of stocks, and waste reduction
  • Owns coordinating critical activities cross-functionally with Sales, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Customer Service, Warehousing, and Transportation to achieve KPIs and resolve gaps
  • Responsible for proactive communication to Sales, Customers & key Leadership stakeholders to share status of product availability and action oriented solves to return to in-stock
  • Drives implementation of review and respond methodologies/5-Star Customer Service
  • Responsible for managing direct reports to build a strong, collaborative structure, this includes establishing clear performance and behavioral expectations, development of the team by identifying and providing feedback through 1:1s, effective use of personal development plans during coaching and development, strong performance management processes using mid-year reviews and PDR process, and driving quality and consistency via collaborative partnerships with peers
  • Adheres to financial operating targets by ensuring cost gaps are identified and action plans are put in place to mitigate

Qualifications/Requirements

  • BA/BS degree with 8 plus years of experience across multiple supply chain functions including Order Management, Inventory Replenishment, Demand or Supply Planning, Logistics, Procurement, Operations, Warehousing, or Transportation. Previous customer facing experience preferred.
  • People Management Experience Required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt style to needs of audience
  • Proven change agent
  • Strong problem solving, issue resolution, influencing and prioritization skills
  • Critical thinking skills with analytical and continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to develop and lead teams in an agile and fluid environment
  • Innovation mindset with ability and willingness to adapt and integrate new technology, processes, and ideas to drive efficiency
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point)
  • SAP and Tableau experience a plus
