Job Description

This role would be primarily involved in the following activities:

  • Ensure timely Planning and Forecasting by contributing to SBP and AOP process
  • Drive Innovation product P&L / margin governance
  • Ensure brand pack P&L reviews to manage brand-wise margins
  • Ensure A&M spend reviews to increase effectiveness of spends and correct reporting
  • Drive culture of GCS across commercials team through specific interventions

Key Accountabilities

  • Drive Innovation SBP/AOP Phase1 & 2- discussion with Cat. Heads/ R&D and Marketing Director
  • Build category construct for AOP and SBP (including template submission and closure with Marketing team)
  • Drive Preparation and Closure of volumes (pack/brand) during SBP and AOP with alignment from CMO and COOs
  • Build A&M construct (Brand-wise/Black swan template) for SBP and AOP
  • Circulation of A&M Monthly report to Marketing on Working/Non Working, Brad-wise A&M spend, NPD write offs and Volume Growth
  • Provide template submission (A&M, Volume & Share, Innovation) for SBP and AOP planning – Phase 1,2
  • Provide Innovation Forecast - discussion with Cat. Heads/ R&D and Marketing Director and upload on IPM
  • Ensure Innovation Actuals tracking and reporting for Stage Gate
  • Facilitate Innovation P&L preparation and scenario analysis
  • Ensure Innovation P&L status tracker circulation to Marketing team
  • Participate In Stage Gate meeting to arrive at decisions on innovation, gate movements and margin guard rails
  • Drive A&M Reporting on Brand-wise and Working/Non working
  • Ensure stabilization of closing processes for marketing vertical while ensuring timelines and accuracy
  • Drive Balance Sheet review and Balance sheer hygiene for relevant accounts and process/controls review (for e.g. PO review, Marketing Advances, MYC process, Late PO etc)
  • Prepare for Marketing Operational reviews
  • Ensure A&M related KC compliance by conducting reviews with the Marketing team
  • For NPDs, monitor actual results vs. approved P&Ls and share with marketing and R&D teams, drive actions emerging from above
  • Participate in Brand Councils
  • Perform Financial assessment of new packs/category for profitability/affordability
