India will be a global IT Technology Hub for PepsiCo. The global IT Technology Hub in India will play a significant role in the delivery of IT services across all five of our global capability teams:

The IT Global Development & Delivery (D&D) organization partners with our businesses and local IT Business Relationship Managers to build and deploy high value IT solutions that bring new business capabilities to life. D&D has 4 key functions:
  • Delivery: Deliver high quality projects, maximizing solution commonality and reusability across markets
  • Development: Lead the technical design, build, and quality assurance of all technical customizations and solution development landscapes
  • Planning & Testing Services: Deliver release planning, testing, and D&D processes / services / tools to enable delivery excellence and reduce risk to PepsiCo’s IT landscape
  • Enterprise First / Design Authority: Build a global digital foundation with harmonized business processes

We are seeking a SAP S/4 and HANA development & Governance Analyst responsible for timely delivery of high-quality reliable and cost-effective technical solutions for the Global Template and subsequent Enterprise First SAP S/4 projects. This involves defined design guidelines and best practices related to S/4 and HANA. In addition, the SAP S/4 and HANA developer is expected to perform design and QA reviews for development done by our vendor partners and ensure strict adherence to PepsiCo’s global development processes. Finally, the SAP S/4 and HANA developer may be responsible for coding/building solutions under certain conditions driven by business need and/or solution complexity. The role will be based in Hyderabad, India.

Functional Responsibilities:
  • Performs complex design and development for enhancements, interfaces, forms, reports, conversions and workflow
  • Provides input to S/4 and HANA related development standards and improvements to our QA and governance processes
  • Accountable for Quality Assurance of code/technical design reviews for junior developers
  • Provide application debugging support and code fixes for identified issues and builds for optimal quality
  • Works with customers and IT partners globally to identify and resolve application issues, escalating as required
  • Partner closely with external vendors, including on-shore and offshore resources
  • Develops, executes and maintains test plans and test cases for unit testing efforts
  • Provides Technical cut-over, Go-Live and Hypercare support

Key Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 8+ years of hands-on SAP development, implementation, and support with focus on one or more of the following SAP functional modules: FIN, GTM, SCM, SD, HCM, and/or APO
  • 1+ years of hands on HANA development and implementation (with S/4 preferred with E2E implementation)
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Proficient in SAP ABAP, user exits, BAPIs, RFCs, BADIs, object oriented programming (OOO), LSMW, ALV reporting, BDCs, SQL and IDOCs
  • Proficient with HANA Studio – modeling, inport/export HANA artificats, Information views, CDS, DB procedures
  • Proficient with ADT (ABAP Development Tools) using HANA – exposing HANA artifacts to ABAP layer, Code Push Down, ABAP managed HANA DB procedures
  • Proficient with HANA performance analysis using Viz Plan and traces
  • Proficient in written & spoken English
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in basic Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook)
  • Knowledge and experience in following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: SAP Solution Manager (7.2 preferred), SAP ChaRM, ITIL tools & processes, HP Service Manager, Mercury tools, CPG industry experience, project implementation
