Job Description

  • Business Strategy + Results (Portfolio/Go-to-market Systems)
    • Lead, and develop the mid-term/long-term strategy for the territory jointly with the BU teams. Provide strong focus on brand growth, share of market, profitability and sustainability.
    • Establish effective working relationships with key stakeholders internal (BU-GM, BU-CFO, BU-CMO, Category Leads, etc.) and external (Bottlers/Distributors/Customers, etc.).
  • 3rd party Strategy Development
    • Develop the 3rd party strategy and portfolio strategy jointly with the bottlers and distributors to deliver the plan volume and contribution.
    • Responsible for developing and executing the strategy and tactics for achieving the territory's volume and net revenue plans.
  • Marketing
    • Together with the BU marketing team and the category groups lead the development of the local marketing strategy and plans. Provide detailed executional direction and results tracking for key programs together with the bottlers and distributors.
    • Ensure marketing strategy and programs are consistent with brand guidelines and appropriately matched to the 3rd party partners capability and financial resources.
  • Customer Selling / Customer Network
    • Together with the bottlers and distributors develop the trade calendar and key customer annual plans.
    • Call on decision makers at key customers together with the 3rd party partners within the territory to develop the effectiveness of the Pepsico portfolio.
    • Leverage fact based selling and strong professional relationships to achieve mutually agreed objectives with the bottlers and distributors with the customers.
  • Leadership and People Development
    • Lead and manage the direct report demonstrating Pepsico’s vision & values.
    • Cooperatively engage with the matrix of stakeholders (BU, Category Groups,Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Bottlers, Distributors, etc) to lead and influence key decisions inorder to deliver business growth objectives.
    • Lead the diversified structure of GTM systems for the different bottlers and distributors looking for synergy and simplification.
    • Own the 3rd party agenda on CEO level with external partners including 2 Bottlers (Aproz/Migros CH, Voeslauer AUT) and 3 Distributors (Promena CH, Mautner Markhof AUT, Maresi AUT).
    • Continue to develop personal leadership and managerial skills by participating in 360, MQPI, and OHS surveys. Actively seek feedback to improve overall effectiveness in the role.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Knowledge / Experience:
    • Education: University Degree MBA
    • 12+ years Marketing and Sales experience, mainly in FMCG
    • 4 + years experience in the Swiss market
    • Fluent in German and English, French preferred
    • Strong commercial knowledge and a proven commercial track record including strategic thinking, brand positioning, advertising, consumer promotions, media planning and buying and Sales
