Within this data driven team, your integral role will be supporting the Shopper Marketing media agenda across PepsiCo’s full portfolio. Your team will be trusted advisors to our internal Shopper Marketing team, as well as our retailer partners’ own media networks and data teams to deliver more effective & efficient media and data decisions. You will need to stay closely connected to these stakeholders and their evolving needs as well as be a strong communicator and influencer to drive impact. This role will analyze the existing media approach to help the team determine game-changing improvements to enable stronger ROI across all media investments. You will work cross-functionally across PepsiCo teams including eCommerce, Brand Media Execution, and Analytics to support the team to build a collaborative go-to-market media approach, efficient execution, and robust media measurement. And finally, you will have additional responsibilities including tracking and analyze Shopper Marketing investments, educating the broader shopper marketing team on digital media, driving awareness of best practices and new capabilities, as well as partnering with new and potential vendors.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Support PepsiCo’s Shopper Marketing media agenda to drive conversion of PepsiCo brands at key retailers
  • Act as trusted advisor to Shopper Marketing for best-in-class media planning, execution, and measurement
  • Deliver media improvements to drive improved ROI year over year
  • Build a foundational understanding of key retailer media networks media & data capabilities, develop relationships with those teams, and influence improvements to drive PepsiCo investments on those platforms
  • Partner with key stakeholders and proactively stay closely connected to them in the development and optimization of media planning, execution and measurement as well as innovation from new partners and capabilities
  • Elevate the impact of the Digital Shopper Media function and outputs by challenging the way we’ve done it in the past, by delivering clear, thoughtful alternatives/recommendations
  • Develop working relationships with cross-functional business teams
  • Manage relationships and vendor partners and data suppliers
  • Promote and foster a "learning culture" by monitoring latest industry thinking and innovation to inform direction for future strategies/plans
  • Track and analyze media programs across Shopper Marketing to define best practices and share broadly across the team
  • Manage vendor contracts and budget

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, Master’s preferred
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with digital vendors / vendor management is desirable; consumer packaged goods and shopper marketing experience a strong plus
  • Foundational understanding of digital media
  • Passion for digital media
  • Complex problem solver who can define, assess, and solve, and communicate back to leadership in a clear and concise fashion
  • Proactive in terms of ideas, problem solving, and building connections
  • Creative thinker who can bring innovation to projects and processes
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and creating structure
  • Quick learner
  • Excellent analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to translate information and data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
  • Solid organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once delivering strong, detailed execution
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and build connections with key stakeholders on projects
  • Ability to collaborate with others for a better solution
  • High degree of functional proficiency with Excel, Power Point, and data analytics software
  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
