Within the function, Data Governance and Performance Management Lead will be responsible for the smooth operations of the COE through data management and process improvement initiatives. The role will be based in Hyderabad and will be reporting to the Finance Lead (GBS).


Functional Responsibilities

  • Ensure continuous improvement and simplification of processes, standardization of reports and optimal use of technology through aligned projects
  • Owns accuracy of master data and mapping tables for all 700 Planning reports across all markets serviced by the COE across
  • Maintains audit trail of any changes in master data
  • Ensures that data tables and structures are up-to-date and reflect business structure and responsibilities
  • Provides expert support on Tableau dashboards
  • Owns and delivers visualization in Tableau of all the new reports / requests from all markets
  • Owns hosting of Tableau content on server
  • Owns migration of new processes
  • Liaise with key stakeholders including Sector and BU planning teams on a regular basis for updates on business changes and engage in joint planning of quarterly and annual service calendar
  • Participate in COE quarterly governance steering committee meetings with Remain Co. stakeholders to align on strategic initiatives for the COE, process changes, technological investments and approving plan of activities for the upcoming quarter / year
  • Assist Finance GBS lead in developing on-going training and capability plan for COE associates including on boarding, new process rollouts, tableau training
  • Conducts and leads cross-teams “lean six sigma” workshops

Key Qualifications/Requirements:
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in finance and planning
  • 3+ years of experience of working in a business and managing a team of associates
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in commerce/business administration / economic with high level of Finance & Accounting Experience. CA/ICWAI/MBA/CPA Finance is preferred
  • Experience of lean six sigma – certified LSS green belt
  • Sound knowledge of Financial systems (SAP, Tableau, MS Office and Other financial reporting systems)
  • Strong understanding of business processes
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience of both Management reporting and planning processes
  • Experience with working with FMCG sector
  • Experience in leading process excellence and performance improvement
  • Exceptional communication skills. Proficiency in English language
