Job Description

The Productivity Analyst is responsible for the Financial Stewardship of the Category Productivity AOP Planning Process, as well as the ongoing facilitation of Productivity Process including; Performance Tracking, Deployment of COE Policy & Procedures and Power Steering System Administration. The Productivity Analyst will provide support to the SC Category Productivity Lead (Key Customer) who are ultimately responsible for delivery of Capital plan.

Main accountabilities:
  • Finance support to SC Category Productivity Lead in building Productivity AOP (multiple BU/Plants);
  • Productivity Performance Tracking for the SC Category
  • PowerSteering System Administration for SC Category
  • General / Adhoc support on all aspects of Productivity (definitions, calculations, systems);
  • Governance/Integrity of Productivity Financials (Financial sign off). Validate compliance with COE policy
  • Deployment & Adherence of COE Policy, Procedures, and Best Practice
  • Deliver end user training on Power Steering (2-4 times per year)
  • Proposes improvements to systems/process to SCF COE
  • Share best practice with peers in West, East and Russia

Qualifications/Requirements

  • The role accountabilities are typically constrained, given operating within policy/procedure, but does require thinking skills in supporting Engineers in structure/content/financial modelling of Capex proposals
  • The role requires some decision making, but typically within guardrails of policy. Decisions outside of guardrails escalated to more senior level
  • The role requires good functional knowledge of productivity principles/systems
  • The role requires good systems skills / appetite to learn system
  • The role requires good interpersonal skills (& English) to build relationships with engineering community
  • The role requires “reasonable” influencing skills expected of a junior finance professional
  • The role is not expected to make long term contribution to growth of business
