Job Description

General Summary:

  • The Customer Financial Services (CFS) Assistant Supervisor leads a team of frontline analysts in delivering against established objectives
  • Focal point of communication and relationship building with PepsiCo Customers, Sales, and Sales Finance
  • The position is a strategic partner, whose primary focus areas are leadership, leveraging and optimizing team resources, portfolio analysis, and influence
  • The applicant will be leading a team committed to delivering best in class customer service through building business partnerships, improving productivity by streamlining business processes, and minimizing exceptions via trend analysis and strategic planning

Accountabilities:

Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

Financial and Strategic Management:
  • Ensure Team compliance with established PepsiCo Warehouse Sales Trade Settlement processes and procedures
  • Review account portfolios to establish best practices to reduce deduction balances, increase chargeback recoveries, increase productivity, and drive overall efficiencies
  • Monitor team accuracy of promotional spending by ensuring team fully understands specific “Pay for Performance” guidelines and “Go To Market” customer plans developed by Sales Team
  • Leverage technology and process to re-conceptualize the way we do business

Project/Process Management:
  • Participate on projects that drive internal and external process change through process enhancements (e.g., reduced exceptions, streamlining), leveraging of technology and completion of analysis
  • Provide tools and analyze trends to improve compliance and reduce exceptions
  • Network with HQ Finance, Sales, and NASS Management to identify areas for improvement, and lead the initiative to implement change

Coaching:
  • Motivate and sustain high energy levels in an organization with high performance standards
  • Develop the business leaders of the future by identifying potential key talent and coaching for success
  • Build individual performer capability through coaching, development planning and follow through on training

Individual Development Plan:
  • Drive self-development and continuous learning by actively participating in coaching and executing against developmental feedback
  • Demonstrate concern for expanding own skill set and knowledge of business by completing ongoing training and knowledge sharing sessions

Qualifications/Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Four year degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or comparable business experience
  • Strong financial background
  • Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills
  • Highly effective written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to Influence and engage in limited negotiation
  • Strong team and organizational skills
  • A high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; specifically Excel

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
  • 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to lead, manage and complete multiple concurrent projects involving multiple stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to uncover subtle opportunities, assess materiality, exposure and to implement creative solution
  • Proven motivator and goal-oriented team leader
